Fall Calving is here. We have had 6 heifers and a bull calf as of 10/31/2020. All polled, all red, and all healthy.

ALL the Dexter Shows were cancelled this year due to Covid. We did participate in the ADCA Virtual Show. Chaneys Moonpie and Chaneys Felicity were in the same class. Moonpie took 1st and Felicity took 2nd. Mark showed Mr. President, who took 1st. (the only bull in his class). But at least we participated. We are looking forward to the OVDBA Show in May 2021, and the ADCA Show in June of 2021. If the virus allows us to show. We have missed showing, but mostly missed seeing all our far away friends.

We are expecting 4-5 more babies this Fall. Then we will begin again in the Spring.

We have had a large amount of interest in Dexters as I am sure all of you have. Its quite exciting to see so many new owners.

Something to think about, no matter where you are. If you have beef ready to be processed within the next year, we suggest you get an appointment now. These are hard to find.

We have cut our herd down to 20 breeding cows/heifers. We are wanting to keep some of the new ones that will be replacing their dams. We are also expecting our first White Dexters this spring, well 3 to be exact.

We will be selling one of our main herd sires this spring. We have 4 bulls as of today, and need to downsize them.

We hope ALL of you are staying well, and getting ALOT done around the farm. We have completed many projects since staying home away from the virus.
