The holiday season is upon on us now, we are counting our blessings, and there are many. A quick word for our customers “we thank you for purchasing from us and truly appreciate your business. It’s the end of October and we are welcoming the cooler weather now. The bonus is we finally received some rain which we needed badly. Attended the MDBA show and sale in Marshfield, MO last weekend. What a great time that was, lots of Dexter cattle, lots of good folks. We came home with a couple of ribbons and a new heifer, just a great trip. To date there have been 13 fall calves hit the ground, so give us a call and mark your calendar, as they will be available in ~6 mos. We are also offering cow calf pairs, I think we have one or two bred cows left for sale, due to calve in the spring. Lastly a big shout out to MDBA, just a great group of people, and a recommendation to all Dexter owners to plan a trip to their show, whether you bring animals or not it is well worth your time!

It’s now the middle of September and our summer is coming to a close. We are looking forward to cooler weather when it arrives. With the Wilson County Fair and Tennessee Valley Fair shows behind us we want to relax, but have decided to take a few animals to the Missouri Dexter show in October. We have been blessed with good stock as the ones we have been showing have placed well. Many of the results are posted on our Facebook page. Our fall calving is just around the corner so we will have weaned calves available starting in February. We still have a few bred cows left for sale and may sell cow calf pairs if there is a request. Summer is here and we are so happy for it. We were excited to attend the Ohio Valley Dexter Show in the middle of May. We enjoyed the fellowship with other Dexter breeders and had an all in great time. As a bonus, a good number of Chaney cattle placed which always makes our day. June is almost done and we have been lucky to fill our barns with hay. The weather has been cooperating and our pastures are now supporting the cattle. We still have a good number of bred cows for sale, as we are keeping their heifers. Check our For Sale page or visit on Facebook. We always welcome a phone call as well.
